Cost of WWOOF Japan Membership

WWOOFer in Japan 5,500 Japanese Yen

First year memberships are for 18 months duration.
(One year, plus 6 months bonus extra to give you time to plan well in advance)


You'll get BIG DISCOUNTS if you renew before your current membership expires.
Your membership will NOT auto renew. So, please remember to send a new yearly membership fee to continue WWOOFing in Japan.
*** 2nd year WWOOF Japan member: Bronze Level - 2,900 yen
*** 3rd & 4th year WWOOF Japan member: Silver Level - 1,900 yen
*** 5th year and years thereafter WWOOF Japan member: Gold Level - 1,500 yen

A note about currency: We have people join us daily from all over the world. Paypal and banks can all convert whatever currency you use for payment into the proper amount in Japanese YEN.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

1) PayPal

Use this method if you wish to pay by credit card or if you already have a PayPal account or would like to set one up. Creating an account is free, although it may take several days for PayPal to verify the account before you are able to make a payment. 
In most cases your membership is activated immediately once your payment is finished when using PayPal.

How it works: Once you have submitted your initial registration, you will be asked to log in with your user name and the password that you specified. You will then be directed to the PayPal payment page.

OFFLINE PAYMENTS

2) Bank Transfer 

IF YOU PAY THIS WAY, COST OF MEMBERSHIP IS $63 AUSTRALIAN.
If you want to pay by bank transfer from anywhere in the world, then this is the bank account to send your payment to. Be sure to have the bank you use to send your payment inform you of the fees charged by your bank, our bank, and banks in between, so that the full $63 Australian arrives net into our bank account. If you are paying via internet banking, then you should not have fees deducted from your payment. But, if you are sending payment by funds transfer from your bank to our bank, then fees are usually charged by your bank, banks in between, and our bank. Be sure to tell your bank that the full $63 Australian must arrive in our bank account. If your bank does not know, then we can say from experience that the fees most often charged by banks total $21, so if you are not sure, then send an extra $21 to pay for bank fees; $63 plus $21 equals $84 Australian. If you want to avoid bank fees, then you can pay by PayPal via our website.
