Organic Lifestyle
We have an organic attitude of sorts, but we do not go out of our way to be organic or alternative, rather, we do what suits us at the time
Example of Lifestyle (English)
* We don’t use household detergents.
* We don’t use shampoo.
* We avoid using plastic whenever possible.
* We put food scraps into a worm compost.
* We are self-building our house.
* We use natural sheep’s wool insulation.
* We generate our own electricity with solar panels.
* We buy food from local producers whenever possible.
* We repair and reuse things instead of throwing them away whenever they can still be used.

Message To WWOOFers In English
We believe that sustainable living is about more than organic farming—it’s a way of life.
We grow organic tomatoes and asparagus without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and we try to reduce our impact on the environment in our everyday life. I don’t use household detergents or shampoo, avoid plastic whenever possible, compost our food scraps with worms, generate electricity with solar panels, and are self-building our home using natural sheep’s wool insulation.
We don’t aim to be perfect. Instead, we enjoy learning, experimenting, and finding practical ways to live more sustainably, one step at a time.
If you’re interested in organic farming, DIY projects, composting, sustainable living, gardening, fishing, cooking, wood-fired pizza, nature, or cultural exchange, you’ll probably enjoy your stay here. We love sharing ideas and learning from people with different backgrounds, so don’t hesitate to ask questions or share your own experiences.
Our place may not be the best fit if you’re looking for a highly comfortable or luxurious stay. We live in the countryside, so you’ll occasionally encounter insects, work outdoors in different weather conditions, and see ongoing self-build projects around the property.
We’re looking for open-minded, curious, and positive people who enjoy nature, don’t mind getting their hands dirty, and are excited to experience everyday life on a small organic farm in rural Hokkaido. We hope we’ll learn from each other and create memorable experiences together.
Our dream is to create a place where people from around the world can connect with nature, local food, and each other. We believe that protecting the environment begins with enjoying and appreciating it. Through farming, sharing meals, fishing, making wood-fired pizza, and simply spending time together, we hope you’ll experience the beauty of rural Japan and become part of that journey.
