100% organic
No
We have an organic attitude of sorts, but we do not go out of our way to be organic or alternative, rather, we do what suits us at the time

We try to live in a way that is as close to nature as possible.
We practice natural farming without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and we mainly use food that we grow ourselves or source locally. We also make miso and other seasonings by hand whenever possible.

We try to reduce waste, use things for a long time, and do simple DIY projects and repairs ourselves. For heating, we use a wood stove.

We rarely watch television and value time for reading and conversation. We are interested in natural healing, the human body, and ways of living more consciously, and we continue learning and evolving little by little. We do not smoke.

However, we are not strict about our lifestyle.
We value being relaxed and comfortable, and we respect different food preferences and personal values.

Rather than aiming for perfection, we try to live thoughtfully and in our own way.

We are a family of five living a life that is as close to nature as possible.
We grow rice and vegetables using natural farming methods without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. As much as we can, we prepare our own food and make items such as miso and other seasonings by hand. Our daily life is not based on efficiency, but on the rhythms of nature and the seasons.

For us, “living” and “life” are the same thing.
Rather than offering a special program, we invite you to share our everyday life. The work varies depending on the season and may include rice field and vegetable field tasks, firewood work, maintenance, and seasonal handmade projects. There is always something to do, and those who enjoy physical work will have plenty to engage in.

We also enjoy conversations about language, culture, natural healing, and ways of living, but we value mutual learning rather than a teacher-student relationship.

No special qualifications are required.
If you can think independently, ask questions when needed, and enjoy living together with a family, you are very welcome.

We currently live between two locations.
One house is in a more central area of town, where our family lives. This house has Wi-Fi, and we usually share meals and family time there.

The other house is about five minutes away by car, in a more rural setting with rice fields and vegetable fields right in front of it. Woofer guests will stay in this countryside house. At the moment, there is no Wi-Fi there, but we plan to install it in the future. If internet access is needed, it is available at our town house.

During the day, we work and live together. In the evening, you will stay in a quiet countryside environment. It is a comfortable place for those who enjoy spending time slightly away from digital life.

This place may be a good fit if you:

Are interested in nature and farming

Enjoy physical work

Appreciate quiet rural life

Respect a family’s rhythm

It may not be a good fit if you:

Are mainly looking for sightseeing or constant stimulation

Prefer detailed step-by-step instructions at all times

We do not impose a strict lifestyle.
We value being relaxed, comfortable, and respectful of one another.

Rather than aiming for perfection, we simply try to live thoughtfully and in our own way. We would be happy to share this life with you.
