日々の暮らしの中で、できる限り自然に沿った選択を心がけています。
食事は基本的に自炊で、素材を活かしたシンプルなものが中心です。

古代小麦のパンづくりや、味噌・梅干し・醤油などの発酵食品を自分たちで仕込み、
保存食を取り入れた暮らしをしています。

物はなるべく長く使い、修繕しながら大切にしています。
建築や木工の仕事を通して、廃材や余った材料を再利用することもあります。

無理に完璧を目指すのではなく、
自分たちの手の届く範囲で、続けられるやり方を大切にしています。
In our daily life, we try to make choices that are as close to nature as possible.
We mainly cook at home and eat simple meals that respect the ingredients.

We bake bread using ancient grains, and we also enjoy fermentation.
We make fermented foods such as miso, umeboshi (pickled plums), and soy sauce as part of our everyday life.

We try to use things for a long time and repair them when possible.
Through construction and woodworking, we often reuse materials and avoid waste.

Rather than aiming for a perfect or strict lifestyle,
we value finding a natural and sustainable way of living that we can continue comfortably.

私たちは、古代小麦を石臼で製粉し、時間をかけて発酵させるパンづくりをしています。
効率や大量生産よりも、素材・水・時間との関係を大切にし、待つことを仕事の一部として考えています。

仕事はパンづくりだけではありません。
掃除や仕込み、建築、季節により農作業、日々の暮らしそのものが作業になります。
楽な作業ばかりではありませんが、手を動かし、考え、丁寧に向き合うことを大切にしています。

現在は、土日にパンを焼き、月・火・水は建築の仕事をしています。
建築は、自然素材を使った伝統構法(石場建て)を基本としていますが、
パンの事業も行っているため、大きな新築工事は受けていません。
主に、建物の修繕や手仕事による木工の製作などを行っています。

そのため、この場所では、
パンづくりだけでなく、木や道具に触れる仕事、身体を使った作業も経験することになります。
「食」と「住まい」を切り離さず、暮らし全体をつくることを大切にしています。

この場所は、静かに集中したい人、食や発酵、自然や手仕事に興味のある人に向いています。
一方で、観光目的や短期的な体験を求める方には合わないかもしれません。

ここでの経験が、
食や暮らし、自分の働き方を見つめ直すきっかけになれば嬉しいです。

大事なことを一点。

私たち家族は、できるだけ化学的な洗濯洗剤やシャンプーを使わずに生活しています。そのため、人工的な香りにとても敏感です。

もし化学的な香水や強い香りの洗濯洗剤を使われた状態で来られた場合、体調を崩してしまう可能性があり、残念ながら受け入れることができません。

化学的な香料のない状態でお越しいただけると大変助かります。

We make bread using ancient grains, milling them with a stone mill and fermenting the dough slowly over time.
Rather than efficiency or mass production, we value the relationship between ingredients, water, and time, and we consider “waiting” to be an important part of our work.

Our work is not limited to baking bread.
It also includes cleaning, preparation, construction work, and seasonal farm work.
Daily life itself becomes the work here.
Not all tasks are easy, but we value working with our hands, thinking carefully, and approaching each task with care.

Currently, we bake bread on weekends, and from Monday to Wednesday we work in construction.
Our construction work is based on traditional building methods using natural materials, such as stone-foundation structures.
However, because we also run a bread business, we do not take on large new construction projects.
Most of our work involves building repairs and making handcrafted wooden items.

For this reason, people staying here will experience not only bread making, but also working with wood and tools, and doing physically active work.
We believe that food and housing should not be separated, and we value creating a whole way of living.

This place is suitable for people who like to work quietly and focus, and who are interested in food, fermentation, nature, and handcraft.
On the other hand, it may not be suitable for those who are looking mainly for sightseeing or short-term experiences.

We hope that the time spent here will become an opportunity to reflect on food, daily life, and one’s own way of working.

Our family tries to live without chemical detergents and shampoos as much as possible. Because of this, we are very sensitive to artificial fragrances.

If someone arrives wearing chemical perfumes or having used strongly scented laundry detergents, we may feel physically unwell and unfortunately would not be able to host them.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could come without chemical fragrances.
