Message To WWOOFers In English
I started farming in 2023 in Wasamu Town, located in northern Hokkaido.
It is a small ranch with around 150 sheep and 20 goats at its peak.
We only feed our animals feed produced in Hokkaido, mainly from locally available sources.
We do not use genetically modified or imported grains.
We aim for circular management based on connections between people and the local community.
February to April is the birth season, and April to May is the shearing season.
I grow around 30 to 40 different types of vegetables in my home garden, as well as a little asparagus.
We do not use food additives or chemical seasonings. Generally, we only use seasonings that are produced using methods that we are satisfied with.
I would be happy if interesting people who love to eat and animals would come.
The farm is still in the process of development, so I would be happy if we could work together with all the woofers to create it.
We would also like to raise chickens and pigs.
