Organic Lifestyle
We have an organic attitude of sorts, but we do not go out of our way to be organic or alternative, rather, we do what suits us at the time
Example of Lifestyle (English)
I live in a rural area surrounded by nature.
Thankfully, all of our homes use mountain water. We use environmentally friendly detergents and soaps to avoid polluting the environment as much as possible.
I choose foods that are as natural as possible and do not use additives or chemical seasonings, but I don't try to eliminate them completely, so I do it in a reasonable way.
I often cook or preserve vegetables from my garden, wild plants and fruits from the neighborhood, and wild boar and venison given to me by hunters.
I basically do things like repairing old houses and making furniture myself, using scrap materials, donated wood, and driftwood.
We don't have a TV at home.
I work as a handyman, mainly mowing the grass and taking care of the garden, managing vacant houses, and disposing of leftover items.
However, I basically prioritize daily life, raising children, and time to do what I want, and I try to work in a free and relaxed manner.
Diet
We usually eat vegetables and rice but we have meat and fish if we are given it
We put great effort into how to cook and what to eat
We cook mainly Japanese meals
We cook various international meals
Two big meals a day
We always cook homemade meals
We never eat pre-made foods from supermarkets and department stores
We never buy obento (lunch boxes) at convenience stores and supermarkets
We never eat fast food such as McDonald’s and KFC, etc.
Alcoholic Drinks
When we have a party or an event, we might drink with WWOOFers but these occasions are not so often

Message To WWOOFers In English
I've been living in the countryside for five years. I try to live as organically as possible, and as freely and leisurely as possible.
Farming, cooking, woodworking, art... I do a variety of things every day, and I hope to do what I can with the other WWOOFers at the time.
Sometimes we go sightseeing or have fun together.
Recently, I've been hoping for the whole region to move in an organic direction, so I've been actively communicating this awareness to local residents and government officials, and working to encourage this little by little.
As part of this, the aging of the rice farmers who have supported the region and the issue of successors have come to light, and I realized that gradually taking over these rice farmers and converting them to organic farming methods would be a major key to both making the region organic and resolving the succession issue.
So, with the cooperation of some leading local rice farmers, we will be learning about and practicing rice cultivation, and with the cooperation of a local organization whose main activity is relocation arrangements, we have started to create a system and environment that can recruit and support people who want to grow rice and live an organic lifestyle in a wide range of styles.
We are still in the early stages, so we would be grateful if you could learn with us and lend us your support!
Also, if you have any requests, please don't hesitate to let us know!
