Example of Lifestyle (English)
ELM On The Beach is a private guesthouse located along the coast in Nakago, Kitaibaraki City. It was opened in a renovated vacant house with the vision of offering travelers a unique stay experience. ELM On The Beach is popular among international guests, with many travelers choosing to stay as volunteers. Since its opening in 2023, more than 500 people have visited by June 2024. The guesthouse’s appeal lies in its peaceful setting, allowing guests to experience the authentic charm of Japan beyond the typical tourist spots. Families with children or pets especially appreciate this environment.
Guests can enjoy surfing at the nearby beach, fishing for rainbow trout in a local river, and exploring local shrines. ELM On The Beach has also been featured in various media, including TV, newspapers, radio, and magazines.
