100% organic
We have an organic attitude of sorts, but we do not go out of our way to be organic or alternative, rather, we do what suits us at the time
We live a natural, organic, and relaxed lifestyle.
We are surrounded by a lot of nature, and we make the most of the blessings around us.
We occasionally hold cooking classes at local nursery schools and other places.
We do not smoke.

  • We cook mainly Japanese meals
  • We usually cook homemade meals
  • We never eat pre-made foods from supermarkets and department stores
  • We may buy obento (lunch boxes) at convenience stores and supermarkets
  • We may eat fast food such as McDonald’s and KFC, etc.
We do not drink at all. However if WWOOFers want to drink, they can bring their own drink but it has to be a little amount and of course it must not interfere with WWOOFing

Nice to meet you. My name is Tanabe, and I run "Amakusa Organic Experience Guest House & Farm! My name is Tanabe and I run "Amakusa Organic Experience Guest House & Farm.
I want to raise Jersey cows! With this desire, I started the guest house after I turned 60 years old. This is an organic fermentation space where all life is circulating. We run a guest house with vegetables and meat grown without scientific fertilizers and seasonal marine products that are the bounty of the sea, utilizing what the cows have discharged for nature and soil cultivation.
However, Amakusa, where we live, is a rural area, and depopulation is conspicuous.
We would like to spread the word and let everyone know how wonderful Amakusa is! We have decided to join WWOOF in the hope of spreading the word about the wonderful Amakusa!
As of November 2023, we are the first registered WWOOF member and have not hosted anyone yet, but we are sure you will love the beautiful ocean and natural surroundings right in front of us. (Supermarkets and convenience stores are only a 5-10 minute drive away.)
Meals are made from local ingredients and served with local cuisine.
If you are interested, please contact us later! We look forward to hearing from you!
