東京では、オーダーメイドの英語・日本語レッスンを提供し、「食は身体の源」をテーマにした
健康セミナーや料理教室を開催していました。また、グルテンフリーのパン製造・販売も手がけ、
民泊ホストとしても活動していました。現在は大分に移住し、新たなスタートに向けて準備を進めています。

I was born in Santa Barbara, California, and grew up in Guam and Japan.
My parents are of California Spanish, American, and Japanese heritage, and my husband is Japanese.

I teach English and Japanese to children and offer traditional Japanese cooking classes using organic vegetables, spices, and gluten-free ingredients. Additionally, we have been hosting guests from all over the world in Tokyo. Now, we are excited to restart our hosting journey here in Oita.

Organic Farm Life with Chickens, Ducks & Goats – Carpentry & Builders Welcome. If you love animals, nature, and building things with your hands, you may enjoy staying here.
Right now we are expanding the goat fence and chicken coop, and doing house repairs.
People who enjoy carpentry, building, painting, or practical work are especially welcome!

We live surrounded by nature with our organic garden, chickens, ducks, and goats.We enjoy creating things together and sharing skills and experiences.

Help Needed

Food & Daily Life
We usually have two meals a day, mainly with fresh organic vegetables.
We also eat meat and fresh fish.
We do not eat many sweets.
If you need extra food, there is a supermarket and convenience store within walking distance.
For helpers, our sugar-free vegan gluten-free bread is available at 60% off.

Access
Good access from the airport or station, and there is a bus stop nearby.

Pick-up from the station or bus stop is available with a small gas fee:
• Kitsuki area ¥500
• 5–10 km ¥1,000
• 10–20 km ¥2,000
• 20–30 km ¥3,000

We ask for your understanding of the gas cost.

House Notes
Alcoholic beverages are at your own expense.
To avoid misunderstandings between woofers:
• If you bring coffee beans, fruit, or alcohol, please write your name on it.
• We provide instant coffee.
Please note we do not keep the following items in the house:
• cereal
• dairy products
• flour products
• toothpaste
• shampoo
• conditioner

Our place is not couch surfing.
People who are lazy, sloppy, or selfish may not feel comfortable here.
