We created a sanctuary that emphasised balance with nature. We want to live while surrounded by nature, and want to give that experience to our guests, customers, and WWOOFers.

Lifestyle: (Plan 1) We all meet at the restaurant at 7am every morning and prepare breakfast together. After breakfast and cleaning up, your assistance begins at 9am. Then we have lunch at 12pm, and assistance resumes again at 1pm. Assistance is finished at 4 o'clock, after that it is free time. You get a day off per week to do whatever you want. (Plan 2) Biei is a very beautiful place, so when the weather is nice we all go sightseeing, and even when the weather is bad we may sometimes go to the hot springs. So assistance would depend on the weather conditions per each day, there are no fixed hours for assistance, but the average total time is less than 6 hours. While we're here together, I want to have fun together, work hard together, and spend time together as a family. I want to prioritize the feeling of caring for each other and being grateful for each other. I want it to be a place where our hearts are warmed by the joy of meeting each other and having mutual gratitude. The morning meeting time and breakfast time are the same as Plan 1. When we go out, I can show you some delicious food places, or even take you out for a nice restaurant.
Since you are here, I want to make this a memorable encounter. I look forward to a wonderful encounter.
Activities: Work/tasks depend on the season.

Winter: deep cleaning, organising things in the restaurant/house/hotel, snow removal, carrying firewood, maintenance and DIY improvement of the restaurant/house/hotel, various repairs to the grounds, painting the house, deck, cottage, and preparations for spring work (tending the flower fields)

Spring: tending the fields, pruning and tending to the flowers. We also have plans to expand our grounds quite a bit (including erecting new buildings and creating a campground in the forest on our land), so that'll probably be done in spring. WWOOFers who have, or who would like to gain, experience with DIY construction/carpentry are very welcome!

Summer: this period is extremely busy because of all the visitors to Biei/Furano. Most of the work during this period will revolve around serving the hotel guests and restaurant customers - cleaning the rooms, making beds, serving customers in our restaurant. Even for those who aren't too confident in helping out with these areas, there is plenty to do re: garden maintenance (weed plucking).

Autumn/Fall: this period is also quite busy because of all the visitors to Biei/Furano, although slightly less busy than summer. The work will be mainly the same as in summer, although we'll also have to harvest the flowers, as well as split firewood for the coming winter. Similarly, even for those who aren't too confident in helping out with these areas, there is plenty to do re: garden maintenance (weed plucking).
