We have an organic attitude of sorts, but we do not go out of our way to be organic or alternative, rather, we do what suits us at the time

I am currently looking for WWOOFers with experience in building, gardening, maintenance, painting, furnishing, or interior design/renovation. If you have skills in any of these areas, you are very welcome, as I am planning to renovate a large basement space. We are also working to create a space that values harmony and balance with nature.

WINTER SEASON SCHEDULE (September to May)
We gather in the eating area each morning at 7:30 a.m. to prepare and enjoy breakfast together. Afterward, we clean up and begin the day’s activities around 9:00 a.m., continuing until around 12:00 p.m. Lunch is prepared and enjoyed together, following a similar process. In the afternoon, we resume work from 1:00 p.m. to about 4:00 p.m. Dinner prep starts around 6:00 p.m., and mealtime is a shared, communal experience with everyone helping out. These shared moments are valuable opportunities to connect, reflect, and relax.

SUMMER SEASON SCHEDULE (June to August)
During summer, we follow an earlier routine to enjoy the cool morning hours. We gather at 6:00 a.m. for a light breakfast and begin our activities at 6:30 a.m., usually finishing by 9:30 a.m. After a rest period, we meet again at 12:00 p.m. to prepare and enjoy lunch. The evening session goes from 4:00 p.m. to around 7:00 p.m., followed by dinner preparations and a relaxed shared meal.

Free Time
During your free time—whether in winter or summer—you are welcome to rest, enjoy the surrounding nature, or explore the area. On beautiful days, we can go cycling around Biei or visit local attractions such as panoramic view towers, the famous Blue Pond, and seasonal flower parks. If everyone feels up for it, we can organize small group outings to explore together.

IMPORTANT
I place great importance on mutual care, kindness, and proactive contribution. We must show gratitude toward one another, take genuine interest in understanding each other, and respect the cultural differences that may arise. If you're someone who enjoys hard work, is curious about new lifestyles, and loves exploration, this will be the perfect environment for you. However, if someone consistently shows a lack of motivation or refuses to contribute, I will ask them to leave. A positive mindset and shared effort are essential for creating a meaningful, respectful experience for everyone involved.

Seasonal Tasks
Winter: Indoor cleaning, moving firewood, organizing tools, and small renovation projects. Winter is a calm season, and we can host only 2–3 people at a time.

Spring: Weeding, caring for flower fields and vegetable gardens, and replanting. Several buildings and log cabins need repainting. We are also planning to build new features like a sauna, pizza oven, and onsen. Experience with construction or machinery is highly appreciated.

Summer: Our busiest season. WWOOFers will help with guest interaction, harvesting, weeding, painting, and room cleaning.

Autumn: From mid-October to mid-November, we prepare for winter by harvesting produce, chopping and transporting firewood, and caring for the flowers.
