We have an organic attitude of sorts, but we do not go out of our way to be organic or alternative, rather, we do what suits us at the time

・I've lived in the house built in the 1930s .
・I've been renovating the house by myself from 2013 .

・The cafe will be a place for an artist-in-residence program and work-shops .
・No TV and air conditioner .
・we sleep and eat at the renovation site, so there would be a possibility that we eat outside, we cook like camping, we go to take a bath at public bath, etc. depending on the stage of renovation .

We usually eat vegetables and rice but we have meat and fish if we are given it

藝術大学のある地域なので、地域在住のアーティストも多く、地域のNPOと協力していろいろな催しや
レジデンスを行っています。
私が今まで住んでいたヨーロッパで交流のあったアーティストと
地域で交流のあるアーティストとのエクスチェンジプログラム・発表の拠点・カフェとして改築をしています。
養蜂・ヤギの飼育・石窯制作・ツリーハウスをこれからしていきます。
アートや自分で作る生活を通しての地域との交流を図っていきます。

Message To WWOOFers In English
I need your help for the renovating a house mainly .
we can arrange another activities ,too
gardening,field work,making traditional fermented foods ,
making home-made soaps and so on .
in this area ,in the south of Ibaraki prefecture ,
there is a municipal NPO activity of an art project with the art university students and passing-out the art university artists who live in the city
I have a lot of artists friends around me in Europe ,
I will start an artist-in-residence program and work-shops in this house .
I will start a bee keeping , rearing a goat , making a kiln and tree-houses , too .
