伝統的な赤瓦家と現代の家屋を合わせた大きな家です。
私は一人で1階に住んでいます。1階は床間や仏壇のある伝統的な作りの家です。
ウーフ用は、一部屋です。
2階は長男家族が住んでいます。
猫２匹いますが、1階と2階を自由に行き来しています。
お隣は紅芋農家の弟の家です。彼は野菜を自家栽培しているので、大抵はそこから野菜をもらっています。仲良く行き来しています。

沖縄では「いちゃりば　ちょーでー（出会えば皆兄弟）」という言葉があります。それが実感できる場所家です。
地域の行事や伝統芸能の舞台があれば一緒に見に行けます。
また旧暦1日と15日は、お隣の聖地のお掃除を一緒にできます。
作業も日常生活も一緒に楽しんでやっていきたい。

草取り作業。
乾燥機で乾燥されたヘナ、インディゴを、葉っぱだけにする作業。

夕食づくり。
Usually WWOOFers need to volunteer more than 6 hours a day, however, we are balancing that by giving WWOOFers something extra, eg. extra days off

基本は、4畳半の畳間を使います。エアコンあります。

グループの時には１番座と呼ばれる部屋か、仏間のある2番座とよばれる部屋のいずれかに寝泊まりします。日本の畳間です。そこはエアコンがないので扇風機対応です。

第2、第4の金曜夜8〜9時は、郷土芸能の夕べという民俗舞踊の舞台があり、見ることができます。
畑の隣は島の聖地、御嶽になっています。旧暦の1日と15日は、早朝に聖地のお掃除をさせて頂いています。ウーフ期間に当たれば、ぜひご一緒にお願いします。

私は八重山舞踊の師範でもあります。
