Launched a transition town Ayakawa, we have fun activities aimed at independence recycling community from fossil fuel dependency.
We are creating a futuristic alternative Exchange Center. Zero Waste Cafe, Eco-Guest house, Music & Events. We conduct organic markets and concerts, painting exhibitions, workshops, planning of the festival. We do other activities such as Noguchi manipulative, scrap wood construction, breeding of goats and chicken, natural farming, carbon cycle farming, etc.

The zero waste cafe is in renovation so we do a lot of construction work at this moment. We plan to open it in 2020 but we still runs small music events in it.

My name is Toyo and I am a local politician, something I am very busy with this job but some other time I will guide you in the tasks to do.
Tasks really change depending on the season, some of my friends and family have orchards so you can basically help them some days (oranges, peaches trees...). I have a lot of field around my propriety and if you want to experiment new way to grow vegetables I will be pleased.

I am very active in the local cultural events so you will probably experience some of them, most of the time I play Djembe (I learnt in Africa) so you can join and play at this kind of event. I can teach you some Djembe music. I also have a lot of instruments at my place and you will have free time to play music with it.

I have a Japanese traditional house next to my house and this is the place whereWWOOFers stay. This is very important to clean it and keep it tidy. Next to this house, there is a small guest house. This guest house is basically for 5 people and can be rent on Airbnb. Woofers help me to keep it clean and tidy and to prepare it when guest are coming.

I have a lot of animals (dogs, chicken, goats, cats) and one of the tasks as WWOOFer is to take care of them, cats and dogs are very friendly but goats can be shy. Moreover, you will taste our delicious fresh eggs !

I have a pizza truck opening every Sunday, but I will open it more days per week soon, I also bring it to events somethings to sell our pizza. The dough is handmade and bake with wood fire, I try to add ingredients from my farm (herb pesto...).

If you have some food restriction, woofers cook together so you will have to manage it. Don't worry, everybody is flexible. I will be here for every meals and I can cook some meals as well but most of the time I am too busy to cook.
In the cafe, you will experience to cook with fire stoves, it will be a great opportunity to improve your cooking skills.

Every day off are Thursday (but it might change), you can feel free to ask another day. You can enjoy visiting Onsen, Setouchi islands or the surrounded nature. You can reach Takamatsu with less than one hour by local train.

My place can offer you a lot of difference experiences and I am very open to new ideas to improve it. If you have some knowledges about farming, craft, wood construction, cooking, etc, you are more than welcome.
Some days a lot of woofers are staying so you can enjoy sharing your culture and making new friends.

Long stay is preferred, basically 1 month or more. I am flexible but my place need people who can stay a long time.

We are for the purpose of creation of peaceful and self-sustaining recycling society. Always think in zero-based, and we want to continue to respond flexibly to changes. Think cosmically (considered in the cosmic perspective, and practice to in the activities of the region) Act locally now once in a slogan, it is an activity that is going to rebuild the existing values in the law of the universe. There is a significance to what sober activities. Even if you're any woofer, and I would like to think about whether society can contribute in any form taking advantage of the good things and strengths. Negative thinking, critics of people I think do not fit.
