海の近くの昔からある民宿の女将ですが、普段は普通のお母さんです。
子育てを通して出来たコミュニティがあり、❝人と人、人と物、人と自然がいつまでも仲良く❞ をモットーに活動している愉快な仲間たちがいます。
そんなコミュニティでは、タケノコ掘り、梅仕事、味噌づくり、醤油作り、銀杏拾い、柚子胡椒作り、こんにゃく作り、豆腐作り・・・などの季節の手仕事を慌ただしくも楽しんでいます!
海の季節には、暗くなるまで海で遊びながら、外でご飯を食べるのが私たちの楽しみのひとつです♪

毎週、この民宿の広いスペースを活用して、自然栽培農で育てられた野菜販売会もしています。
その野菜を使って、漬物やキムチなどの加工品をみんなで作ったりします。
私は発酵調味料を使った料理が得意です!

民宿だけど、地域の人との交流が、ここにはあります。

I run a long-established seaside guesthouse, but in my everyday life, I’m just a regular mom.

Through raising my children, I’ve built a warm community of cheerful friends who share the motto:
“People with people, people with things, and people with nature—living in harmony for years to come.”

In this community, we joyfully take part in seasonal activities throughout the year—digging bamboo shoots, making ume preserves, preparing miso and soy sauce, gathering ginkgo nuts, and crafting yuzu pepper, making Konnyaku and Tofu to name a few.
During the seaside season, one of our favorite pleasures is spending time playing in the ocean until it gets dark, and then enjoying a meal together outside.

Every week, we also make use of the spacious area at the guesthouse to host a market featuring vegetables grown through natural farming methods. Using these fresh ingredients, we come together to make homemade products such as pickles and kimchi.
I’m especially good at cooking with fermented seasonings!

Although it’s a guesthouse, what makes this place special is the opportunity to connect and interact with local people.

私たちは、海の近くで代々続く民宿を営んでいます。
観光のお客様をお迎えする場所であると同時に、地域の人たちや仲間たちが自然と集まる、少し開かれた場所でもあります。

古い建物のため、日々のメンテナンスは欠かせません。障子を張り替えたり、布団は綿を入れ替えながら繰り返し使ったりと、昔からあるものを大切にしながら、現代のお客様にも心地よく過ごしていただけるよう工夫しています。

普段の私は、特別な人ではなく、子育てをしながら暮らしている一人の母です。
その子育てを通してできたコミュニティがあり、「人と人、人と物、人と自然がいつまでも仲良く」という想いを大切にしながら活動しています。

季節ごとの、昔ながらの手仕事をみんなで楽しんでいます。
また、自然栽培の野菜の販売や、それを使った加工品(漬物やキムチなど)を一緒に作ることもあります。
この民宿の広い敷地は、そうした地域の人たちとの交流の場にもなっています。

ここ御宿には、都会のような便利さはありません。
夜は真っ暗になり波の音が聞こえ、朝は鳥の声で目が覚めます。そんな何気ない自然の中での暮らしが、どれほど豊かで贅沢なことか、ここでの生活を通して気づきました。

夏の海の季節には、暗くなるまで海で遊び、そのまま外でご飯を食べる時間も、私たちにとって大切な日常のひとつです。

料理では、発酵調味料を使った家庭料理を得意としていて、日々の食事もとても大切にしています。

また、私自身が学生時代にWWOOFerとしてお世話になった経験や、アメリカ留学中に家族のように迎えてくれたホストファミリーとの出会いから、「誰かにとっての第二のふるさとになれる場所をつくりたい」という思いでWWOOFホストを始めました。

パートスタッフもいますが、WWOOFerの方には掃除や片付けの手伝いだけでなく、子どもたちとの時間や食事の準備・片付けなど、日々の暮らしを一緒に楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです。
自由時間もたくさんあるので、海や自然の中でゆったり過ごすこともできます。

また、ご希望が合えば、30分ほど離れた場所にいる友人のWWOOFホスト(h57192)と行き来しながら滞在することも可能です(送迎あり)。
一つの滞在で、海のある暮らしと山(畑)のある暮らし、両方を体験できるのも魅力のひとつです。

We run a long-established, family-owned guesthouse by the sea.
While we welcome travelers, it is also a place where local people and friends naturally gather—a slightly open and shared space within the community.

Because the building is old, regular maintenance is essential. We replace shoji paper, re-stuff futons with fresh cotton, and continue to care for things that have been used for generations. By valuing these traditional elements, we strive to create a comfortable stay for modern guests.

In my daily life, I am not someone special—just a mother raising children.
Through this journey, I have built a community that values the idea of “people with people, people with things, and people with nature living in harmony.”

We enjoy traditional seasonal activities together throughout the year.
We also host a small market for naturally grown vegetables and make homemade products such as pickles and kimchi using those ingredients. The spacious grounds of our guesthouse have become a place for connection and exchange among local people.

Here in Onjuku, there is none of the convenience of the city.
At night, it becomes completely dark, and you can hear the sound of the waves. In the morning, you wake up to the sound of birds. Living here has taught me how rich and precious these simple moments in nature truly are.

During the summer seaside season, one of our favorite daily pleasures is spending time at the beach until it gets dark and then enjoying a meal together outside.

I especially enjoy cooking with fermented seasonings, and we place great importance on our daily meals.

I started hosting WWOOFers because of my own experiences—being warmly welcomed as a WWOOFer during my student days, and later being embraced like family by my host family while studying in the United States.
Through this place, I hope to create a “second home” for someone, just as others once did for me.

We do have part-time staff, but for WWOOFers, we hope you will not only help with cleaning and tidying, but also share in daily life—spending time with the children, helping with meal preparation and clean-up, and enjoying everyday moments together.
There is also plenty of free time, so you can relax and enjoy the sea and nature.

If it suits your interests, it is also possible to share your stay with a friend of mine who is a WWOOF host (h57192), located about 30 minutes away (transportation provided).
By staying in both places, you can experience both seaside life and life in the mountains (farming).

千葉でも有数な白い砂浜の御宿海岸まで徒歩3分のところで代々続く民宿をやっています!
3人の子供たちのお世話の手伝いを中心に、皿洗いや部屋の掃除や草刈りなど、どれも簡単な作業なので、元気な身体があれば大丈夫です♪期間は短くても長くてもどちらでも♪

We are running a guest house that has been running for generations, 3 minutes walk from Onjuku Beach, one of the most white sand beaches in Chiba!
Mainly, taking care of my 3 kids, but there are also help washing dishes, cleaning the room, mowing the grass, etc. are all simple tasks, so as long as you have a healthy body, you'll be fine ♪ You can do them for a short or long period of time!
