We have an organic attitude of sorts, but we do not go out of our way to be organic or alternative, rather, we do what suits us at the time

We live in a renovated wooden-built elementary school. The small village in which we are located used this place as a school, until it closed. The current landlord of the place has only rented it out to people who wish to do something for the community and sustainability.

Anyone who wants to learn from the sustainable community is welcome at our place! As long as we can communicate well before your arrival so everything is clear to both of us.
Please avoid to expect too much about doing Yoga (asana) as it happens not regularly at the moment.
We also welcome someone who is seeking to learn organic greenhouse farming method without irrigation system.

◎Please note that applications are accepted for arrivals on Mondays only.
◎For heavy smokers and individuals who use strongly scented artificial fragrances, such as powerful fabric softeners or strong-smelling shampoos, we kindly ask that you refrain from using them before coming here.

We are a small community and sometimes have other guests over as well. So farming is important, but depending on the season and situation we might require other work within and around the house.

A WWOOFer who is willing to help with any given task such as doing dishes or preparing the table for dinner (besides the farm work)- we greatly appreciate!
Usually WWOOFers need to volunteer more than 6 hours a day, however, we are balancing that by giving WWOOFers something extra, eg. extra days off

  • In a house separate from the main house

We live in a renovated wooden-built elementary school. We do have a couple rooms, but depending on how many people are currently staying and amount of guests/WWOOFers we might ask you to stay in a tent in the garden. (up til now we have only had 1 volunteer stay in a tent). Of course if you do not like to stay in a tent, but rather indoors we can always discuss it and try to give you a place.
Please avoid to come if you don't like children around.

We provide 2 meals in a day, lunch and dinner. For volunteers who wish to have something for breakfast we ask them to prepare it by themselves. (which can include leftovers from the day before, or preparing something they have bought)
Please make sure you are ready for the vegan diet, we welcome someone who is sincerely ready to accept and try to see the changes in yourself.
We can cook for even Vegans

The 'main' farmer and researcher (the host's father) is Japanese. He also speaks Russian and some English (he tries very hard!)

The host(s) speak English, Japanese and Dutch.
If you are open to new experiences and learning different things it's definitely a fun and educational time to stay at our place.

We really appreciate the help WWOOFers give in exchange for (delicious) food and a place to stay.

In case you have any questions before being able to decide whether you want to stay or not, please do not hesitate to message us! We'll gladly answer all your questions.
WE ARE IN URGENT NEED OF WWOOFers!

★We primarily welcome long-term stays of 3 weeks or more, but depending on our busy seasons (April, May, and August) and availability, we also accept short-term stays.★

Stays of less than 3 weeks outside the busy seasons are considered regular (fee-based) accommodations, not through WWOOF. For more details, please refer to the Dana Village website.

In addition to farm work, we are also looking for individuals who can assist flexibly in various tasks around the house, such as cleaning, tidying up, and taking care of children!

We need WWOOFers mostly from the end of March to December. We welcome people who are sincerely looking for experiences with a sustainable, authentic lifestyle with a vegan diet. (You don't have to be vegan, but what we provide is ONLY plant base, except we got something from the neighbor. So we would request you to avoid bringing any non-vegan products to Dana Village: You can eat outside if you want )
PLEASE avoid the last minutes cancellation/ sending COPY&PASTE message as we are accepting limited numbers while we have a lot of requests.
Thank you and look forward to working together!

***I apologize, but we kindly request heavy smokers and individuals who use strong artificial fragrances, such as fabric softeners, to refrain from using them before coming here. Thank you.
