とにかく、真面目に有機農業のことを考えたい人に来てほしい。わからないことは気軽に尋ねて欲しい。はっきり自分の意思が伝えられない人は遠慮してほしい。
We want to accept people from everywhere, do not worry though not speaking Japanese, we can speak English and explain you when you want to know Japanese history, culture, religion, politics and ecomy but We do not accept following wwoofers as we have learned from bitter experinces.
1,Late sleeper.
In any seasons, life in the farm start early. During winter time, I do yoga and summer time, we start working early. We do not want those who always staying late at night and come late in arranged time in the morning. We do not want those who come back midnight in day-off or working with computer really late at night when every body in the house have already selpt. Main room where everybody come together will close at 10pm.
2, Dirty visitor.
We do not want those who have never clean dirty clothes and do not mind clothes being sweaty when other people do not want to be close to you. We do not want those who do not take shower for a long time. Or spreading garbage, leaving empty cans, leaving wetty bath mat without knowing, leaving cap of the toilet open, staying in the room with dusty working clothes bringing dusts into the room or house from the field.
3, Silent claimer
Please do not hesitate to ask us any questions when you feel that you are not comfortable. We do not like people who do not talk honestly but complain later. We do not care whether person is talktive or quiet but we do not want those who do not satisfied but stay quiet and complain later.
4.food waster
We do not waste food and this is the principle of my farm. We grow rice, eggs and vegetables with special care. We will be disappointed when wwoofers leave the food without any excuse or pick up many food on the table when he or she can not eat later. Not only the foods on the meal but also we do want any wwoofers who carelessly waste the food when some else is starving on the earth. We understand there are different cultures in the world where leaving the food is a good manner in order to show the chef that you enjoyed the meal but not in here! In same reason, we do not want those who carelessly waste the water when water on the earth is scarce.
5. loud party campers
We want to enjoy together and having a good time together but we do not want those who speak out loudly in outdoor at late night around my house. Most of our neighboring villagers will sleep earlier and want to wake up early in the morning.
In order to enjoy together, hope to keep above rule and if you feel rules are too strict.please find other host.

My farm stay in mountainous area in Kansai. It is cool in summer but not so much heavy snow during the winter.
You can enjoy one day trip to Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe,or Kinosaki hot springs by JR train from my village.
My city,Tanba city Ichijima is also famous as organic town which teikei system ( very similar to community supported agirculture) was establsihed in 1975 which is on of the oldest teikei group in Japan. I belong to this teikei farmer's group, Ichijima Organic Agriculture Association.
I strated orgaic agriculture in 1989. I was bron in Hiroshima and my father is the vicitim of atomic bomb so I am against any nuclear technology. i spent my high school days in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and sometimes in Chicago,USA.
I am really interested in oriental philosophy and studied about Gandhi and his non-voilent movement and even visited Gandian ashram in India, I worked in consumer cooperative for a while then establsihed my orgnaic farm about 25 years ago. I also involve in organic movement and participate in several organic association domestically and internationally. I visited about more than 20 countries having network in organic internaiotnally. The reason I started wwoofering is that my 2 sons start attending school far way and only me and my wife here. Over my organic farming life and having network worldwide, we need to open the farm in order to let more people to understand objetive and meaning of organic agriculture which I believe necessary to balance food production and enviroment. We want to accept wwoofers who are willing to learn what is organic and we do not want any who just visit here in order to spend time in vacation or save the cost of traveling. we are working here seriously. Our farm is not farm resort. If you want to know more about my farm, you can search on the web, Shinji Hashimoto Organic Agriculture.
Majority of our produces go to directly to our consumer members in Kobe. We mainly market our produce in seasonable box system and we organize farmers and consumers together in order to overocme the barrier that stay between us in large mass food system. We also send our farm message directly to our consumer members to make them understand the importance of rural community, local farming and traditon. We also sell our produces to consumers in Fukushima worrying about food radiation. I visited Fukushima and found seriousness of the situation by internal radiation exposure of local people.
WE ARE ACCEPTING WWOOFers
