I am renovating a traditional Japanese house. Wwoofers who are interested in traditional Japanese architecture, those who like carpentry, those who like woodwork, or those who are interested in housebuilding, it will be a excellent experience.
I would like to enjoy the renovation while respecting the traditional Japanese-style architecture.
Self-building gives much fun and Sense of accomplishment,
and I think this experience will help you with home repair, care and self-building.
As for the gardening, the slightly rough Japanese garden needs care and I would like to make also a natural garden for wildflowers.

Bizen City in Okayama Prefecture, is famous for its pottery and for delicious fish. It is rich in nature and you can enjoy cycling and walking. There is a wood park nearby.

Vegetables are almost self-sufficient and made from organic pesticide-free fertilizers. You will eat seasonal crops. I make various preserved foods such as miso, persimmon with vinegar, wildflower tea, jam.

Even though the income is limited, it seems that living with some comfort (Slow life) is possible by living in harmony with nature.

Wwoofers who like carpentry work or hand making things, or those who are interested in gardening are welcome. I would like you to help me housework chores.
If you like cooking, it is wonderful.

I make Japanese paper and have a small studio.

No problems in communicating in English as I lived in England & Canada for 5 years. I also understand basic French.
It would be nice if I could exchange Japanese for French. I know a little of Chinese but I can hardly speak.

My experience traveling Europe & Asia would be helpful to understand the difference between your country and Japan.
WE ARE IN URGENT NEED OF WWOOFers!
Look forward a wwoofer ftill mid July and
August and September. Renovating a old Japanese house and also remaking a garden to natural taste. Making a natural vegetable field.
